Formed in 2010, the band is led by husband-and-wife musicians Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi (pronounced: ta-desk-key) Derek is the son of Butch Trucks of the Allman Brothers. He bought his first guitar at a yard sale for $5 at age nine and became a child prodigy who played his first paid performance at age 11. He became official member of The Allman Brothers Band in 1999)
